Witch To Eat?

Just another quick sketch from Skyla today...

We have a witch who's very hungry with nothing to eat. And what is that bat-like thing on the perch? It's "her pet" I'm told which is a winged cat (naturally).

That is a table on a horizontal post, if you're wondering. This is a new furniture design that Skyla's fashioned as she told me "so there's no legs to sit around" which is something a lot of us miserable table-goers have to put up with day in and out... She's put these types of floating tables in other pictures which I shall post later in the week. :)

 




You may notice how the fork is on the left, the knife on the right, and the spoon across the top? That is a traditionally formal way of setting a place (of course there are usually MORE items to complicate things, but the basics are just as she's drawn them). Very elegant Skyla. A classy witch. Nice.

Uh oh, we have a strange happening involving a crystal ball.........I asked about what was going on, and Skyla told me the witch is using her ball to find something to eat! I thought the ballerina looked so good, she might have done an ol' look-and-sketch with it, but alas NO! Skyla has not seen The Wizard of Oz, so this picture may enhance your opinion of her creativity today. Mmm.
