Today was Skyla's last day of "Summer Holiday" and she started it off with breakfast and a movie (Harry Potter). It was quite a sunny day so I forced her to spend plenty of time outdoors with me, and when the afternoon was rolling in along with sudden thick clouds I told her to find something do inside until dinner was ready... She asked if she could watch another movie, and when I told her I thought she'd seen enough screen for the day, she did what any (?) six year old child would do and settled with writing a book.
Here's the front cover, that's as far as she got before she realized the paper folded the wrong way and she'd have to read backwards to make it work. I'm sure she'll begin again tomorrow after school. We shall see.
