Brian and I enjoy Pink Lady apples, and we never choose another type for eating. Pink Lady is our favorite. For cooking, I'll use Granny Smith, and for viewing pleasure I enjoy Red Delicious--but that's neither here nor there when you're browsing for the best apples to add to your fridge's supply of weekly snacks and happiness.
What IS here (in England) and there (in the picture) is what I found so interesting I just had to take a picture and show you!
No, don't be ridiculous---that certainly wasn't the Greenway Family's lack of tact while waiting for the grocery store line to shrink down. It's merely some OTHER family's bad manners or an angry employee in desperate need of a lunch break.
I've heard of try before you buy, but surely this is a bit eccentric?
