Skyla's Notes

And from Spain, Brian brought home a little present for Skyla. Castanets. The sweet CLACKING of Castanets. Who would have known they'd become my new alarm clock noise in the morning? She loves playing them and has even brought them to school to show her class.

Since her mother has been writing music, she has decided to give that a shot as well. Here's a copy of her latest song that she wrote. Sorry, I can't get her to play it on camera yet, but at least you can read her lyrics! For any of you that can't quite see, they read:

In the Autumn, In the Autumn
The sunrise is so beautiful
In the Autumn, In the Autumn
The sunrise [believe she meant sunset] is as if the sun has gone to sleep
In the Autumn, In the Autumn-LONG [her version of a fermata]
STRINGS [which sound she used on the piano that she liked]
