Facial Feature

So what. I'm watching a movie with Skyla and I look at her during a funny part to share the moment when she peers over her sketchbook (she sketches while she watches movies, sketches while she listens to a bedtime story, sketches while she waits for dinner, sketches all the live long day) and quite seriously says, "No, Mom, can you just look that way again, I'm trying to draw a portrait."

Sure. Certainly, my six year old. How silly of me.

Though I've seen better pictures taken of me, I still thought I'd share what she had been up to because it's a new thing for her---drawing people from real life.
No, I don't have a lazy eye usually. Yes, I have been told I look very serious and sometimes angry when in actual fact I am merely concentrating. No, really my hair is not that length, it's longer but I had it messily pulled back that day and only the shorter layers had fallen out of the ponytail bubble thing.
As many other funny things there are to point out, I think I'll just leave them to you to ponder.
